Blemishes: The gas tank was a known weak point on these Ducati’s, this one has been repaired on the right hand side. A few scratches have been documented in the photos. This 900 Super Light MK2 still has that classic air cooled Ducati feel to it. The engine produces wonderful low-end grunt with a strong midrange. It feels a lot faster than it actually is. The steering is very precise and stable.

The Super Light was produced as a limited edition numbered variant of the 900ss. Though it featured the same engine, frame, and suspension as the standard 900SS, the Superlight boasted a variety of choice extras. Moreover, throughout the model’s production life, Ducati released several iterations — beginning with the Superlight I and culminating with the Superlight IV in 1995. The Superlight II featured Brembo wheels and a floating front disc brake set up. 325 MK 2s were built in 1992 and an additional 250 in 1993.
